The Ettington Sensation or The Trials of Elizabeth Brandish

In September 1897, young Rees Brandish was collected by his mother, Elizabeth, from Kent, where he had been fostered. Elizabeth said she was taking him back to her home at Ettington, in Warwickshire. When she arrived, Elizabeth was on her own without her son. She told the police about selling him to a woman on a train. But then the body of a young boy was found at Ettington. Was he her missing son?
