We have all heard of audacious art heists which seem to have more in common with the plot of a blockbuster movie than a run-of-the-mill burglary.
Join Shauna Isaac as she looks at famous art thefts, to discuss what motivates art thieves and examine what aspects these thefts have in common. Shauna will also explore how some burglars made crucial mistakes, which enabled investigators to swoop in and recover stolen masterpieces – in many cases, the police sting operations were just as daring as the thefts.
