Jennifer Cranfield Writing Local History

Starting on September 30, 11:00 am

Writing Local History is a workshop designed for those wanting to write their own local history books or to widen their knowledge of a place where their ancestors lived.

Each place is ordinary – and extraordinary. Have you ever wanted to delve into the history of your village and set it in the context of the wider world? What records can be found? What topics could be explored? How should your research be presented to encourage wide readership?

This workshop led by local historian Jennifer Cranfield will present ideas of how to bring the place alive, looking at a wide range of resources.

There are limited places available for this workshop. Please book in advance through the Box Office on 01926 33 44 18.
