Warwick Words History Festival Service
Sunday 3 October
St Mary’s Church
10.30am
Our service takes place in the historic setting of St Mary’s Church, itself a living document of history in Warwick, the British Isles and Europe: the building has Norman foundations, fine medieval architecture and a 17th century nave – rebuilt after part of the church was destroyed providing shelter to those affected by the Great Fire of Warwick.
Seb Falk, lecturer at the University of Cambridge and author of The Light Ages: A Medieval Journey of Discovery will be the speaker at the Festival Service.
Join us in the marvellous setting of this historic church for some wonderful music and stimulating ideas.
All welcome.
