Aaron Manning and Adam Busiakiewicz Historic Pub Walk
Pubs, inns and taverns have been part of Warwick’s culture for over 1,000 years. Travellers, tourists and townsfolk ate, drank and laughed in them. But they were also places for plotting, scheming and fighting.
Local historians Aaron Manning and Adam Busiakiewicz host a Study Day exploring the history of Warwick’s drinking culture and the development of the town. The Study Day will include the chance to see real historic documents, a tour of Warwick’s past, present and lost pubs, and the opportunity to sample locally brewed beer and ale.
Plus, guest speaker Warwick Court Leet’s official beer taster, Graham Sutherland.
Comfortable footwear is advised. The Study Day includes steep steps and walking.
There are limited places available for the Study Day. Please book in advance through the Box Office on 01926 33 44 18
