Welcome to Warwick Words History Festival
We delighted to be able to stage our Warwick Words History Festival events live and in person this year!
TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE online or from the Box Offices.
The History Festival is back, after a challenging year for us all. Our planned 2020 Festival became, in the end, a selection of events available online, which we know many of you were able to view. Our thanks to those of you who joined us online and to those who generously made donations in support of the Festival: we are most grateful for your continuing loyalty.
This year’s Festival takes place from 1 – 10 October 2021, with a pre-Festival Study Day on 27 September. We have a great line-up of speakers, including:Tracy Borman, Helen Carr, Ben Collins, Sarah Gristwood, Loyd Grossman, Max Hastings, Greg Jenner, Lauren Johnson, Dan Jones, Alexander Larman, Suzannah Lipscomb, Fatima Manji, Marc Morris, Rachel Trethewey, Simon Thurley, Nicola Tallis and Alison Weir.
Plus, brilliant local history talks and walks as part of our In and Around Warwick series, and, in association with the University of Warwick, our ever-popular Tea Time Talks.
The full Festival programme is now available here.
Tickets will sell quickly, so we advise booking soon to avoid disappointment.
We look forward to welcoming you back in October. In the meantime, take care, stay safe!
