Historic People and Places of Warwick
Saturday 5 October SOLD OUT!
Meet in The Pageant Garden Castle Street
10.30am – 12noon
Once upon a time, a warrior Princess founded the town of Warwick. A benefactor left the town an enduring legacy. A landscape architect’s garden designs made the town more beautiful. A carpenter became the favourite of the aristocracy. There was a hangman who enjoyed his job a little too much, a coroner who solved an international mystery, a murdered earl and an imposter to the Crown.
Tales of just a few of the many fascinating people who have lived, worked or had a connection with the historic town of Warwick.
Learn their stories on a gentle 90-minute stroll around the centre of Warwick with your guide Paula Fletcher of Historic Warwick Walks.
