Warwick 1900 – 2025
Monday 29 September
Castle Hill Baptist Church
10.30am
Warwick 1900 – 2025 is an illustrated trip down memory lane to see how our county town has changed ... or not … during this period.
And whether or not we like the idea of that change, it happens all the time – perhaps not always for the better. We are fortunate, for example, that the radical redevelopment proposals suggested in the Abercrombie Plan of 1944/5 were not accepted and Warwick town retains much of its traditional appearance. Nevertheless, many of the older buildings which remain have changed their use over the years.
Join local historian Graham Sutherland as he looks at places and buildings, and tells their stories, as they were and as they are now.
