The House of Boleyn
Wednesday 29 April EXTRA EVENT
7.30pm
Warwick Hall, Warwick School, Myton Road, CV34 6PP
We are delighted that Tracy Borman, best-selling author, historian and broadcaster, and Chief Historian at the Historic Royal Palaces, will be opening our celebrations of 10 years of the Warwick Words History Festival with an exclusive event introducing her new novel, The House of Boleyn.
Tracy's novel immerses us in the world of the Boleyns' handsome Kent home, Hever Castle, to uncover the secrets of the Boleyn family. It was here that they plotted and schemed, grieved and rejoiced – and where Henry VIII relentlessly pursued Anne Boleyn. In this richly illustrated talk, Tracy uncovers the history that inspired her novel and takes us behind closed doors to explore the Boleyns as they’ve never been seen before.
Our first History Festival took place in 2016, and Tracy has been a distinguished part of successive Festivals in the 10 years since: to mark our anniversary, Tracy has generously agreed to be our Honorary Festival Patron, so please join us in April as we launch our 2026 History Festival celebrations.
